SP6510P8 Switch

Micronet SP6510P8 is an 8-port 10/100/1000Mbps switch that can support two SFP uplinks to other Ethernet switches. The multi-function switch can help solve the limitation of the power outlet location and offer system designer a flexible solution to locate the network device or power device (PD) anywhere. It features PoE awareness to verify whether the network device receive power is IEEE 802.3af/at compliant, or only the data will be sent through LAN cable. It can detects the presence of 802.3af/at compliant devices, supplies power to different appliances, such as IP Camera, wireless AP or IP Phone, to enable a unified supply of data, voice, video and power over standard Cat.5, 5E, 6, and 7 twisted pair cable.

• Provide 8 IEEE 802.3af PoE ports, or up to two IEEE 802.3at PoE ports and power supply up 75 Watts totally
• Support Protocol-based VLAN and IEEE 802.1Q VLAN feature to flexible network partition, configuration, and also improve network performance
• Support Link Aggregation (IEEE 802.3ad) to increase bandwidth by automatically aggregate several links together
• Support QoS (Port-based/IEEE 802.1p) feature to preserve network bandwidth and allow maximum control of network resources
• Support IGMP Snooping and immediate leave features to prevent flooding of IP multicast traffic and limit bandwidth-intensive of video traffic
• Support Spanning Tree Protocol (STP, IEEE 802.1d) and Reserve STP (RSTP) features to ensure faster recovery from failed links and enhance overall network reliability
• Support DHCP client and snooping, and port mirroring and rate limiting features
• Support IPv6 SNMP v1/v2 feature to allow collecting network information by a network management station
• Allow Telnet, and IPv6 Web interface (both HTTP and HTTPS) access to enable administrators to monitor devices attached to switch ports in more detail
